Spreadsheet to App
Three to six weeks, $12,500 to $25,000, fixed. We rebuild the spreadsheet your team has outgrown as an app. It keeps the same columns and data and adds sign-in, roles, required fields, a record of every change and the reports people now build by hand.

Built for
- A tracker several people edit and nobody fully trusts
- An Access database or shared workbook only one person understands
- Credentialing, grant, contract, equipment or staffing logs
- Reports someone rebuilds by hand every week
Why it's worth it
Today
Several people edit the same tracker, a formula breaks, and nobody can say who changed what. When the one person who understands the sheet is out, the weekly report waits. If rebuilding that report takes a manager three hours a week, that's about $9,300 a year at the median wage for medical and health services managers ($59.55 an hour in May 2025, Bureau of Labor Statistics).
After
Everyone works in one app that checks each entry and records every change. The weekly report builds itself, and any view still exports to Excel.
What you get
Week 1
The sheet, read closely
Every tab, formula, color code and workaround, walked through with the people who use it. The rules they follow by habit get written down. We go through an Access database, SharePoint list or Smartsheet the same way.
Weeks 1–3
The app
Your data moves into a web app with your organization's name and logo, forms that check each entry, a view for each role and the totals the sheet used to compute.
Weeks 3–5
The move
Your existing rows are cleaned, moved over and checked against the original totals. The old sheet stays read-only as a backup.
Handoff
Training and 30 days of fixes
A short recorded walkthrough for the team, documentation and 30 days of fixes. You own the code.
Why not a better spreadsheet
Google Sheets can lock a range and show a cell's edit history, but its help page says that history can miss changes such as added or deleted rows. An app requires the fields you choose, limits who edits what, records every change and still exports to Excel when someone needs it.
If the sheet only needs cleanup, we'll tell you on the first call.
Price
One fixed price for the build, and support after the first 30 days is optional at $300 to $800 a month.

Questions
Can we still export to Excel?
Yes. Every view exports to Excel or CSV.
What happens to the old spreadsheet?
It stays as a read-only backup until the team signs off on the app.
Who hosts it, and what does that cost?
Your organization, in your cloud account or IT environment, and setup is part of the build. You pay the hosting provider directly, and your proposal estimates the monthly cost before you sign.
What about support after launch?
Thirty days of fixes are included. After that, support is optional at $300 to $800 a month, set by the app's size and billed month to month. It covers fixes, updates when something the app depends on changes, and replies by the next business day. Without it, the app keeps running and your team has the code and documentation.
Does it use AI?
Only where it helps, such as reading an uploaded document into the right fields.
Is our contract or credentialing log a better fit for something else?
Sometimes. A contract log that needs deadline warnings and the page each term came from is the Payer and Vendor Contract Register. A credentialing log that needs expiry checks on every file can be a small Custom AI Tool. If people mostly need one place to enter and find records, this is the right service.
